Thomas D Compton Photographer

I love to catch a “moment in time.” The critical part of a slalom turn, the speed of a cyclist descending a mountain, the love expressed by a Mother towards her son or daughter, the changing of a teenager into a young Man or Women.

I am always striving to improve my craft through education, photography workshops, shooting with other photographers, trial and error, challenging my thinking, and my eye in hope of drawing you, my viewer, deeper into an image.

I have had my work published both on the Web and in print. Publications include: Ski Racing Magazine, USSA Cycling, and Nevada Magazine. I was honored by winning Nevada Magazine’s “Action Category” of the Great Nevada Photo Hunt 2009.
